There's a program on BBC 1 rght now, called animal camera, where they have small cameras strapped onto birds. they had one strapped to a small bird of prey, as it whzzed through a forest hunting. it looked just like return of the Jedi!!

quite interesting, pigeons navigate by using roads! cheating buggers.....

  5. I reckon it's fair to let them cheat a bit. Poor little buggers have to jerk their heads back and forth with every step, and make a sound every time they flap their wings. It must be very wearing!

By the way, has anyone EVER seen a baby pigeon?! Perhaps this new series can uncover where they keep their kids, and why they're so antisocial. Or maybe pigeons don't have to have kids, they multiply by binary fission like bacteria, forming two identical, adult pigeons!

sorry, but that can't be true! doesn't account for the garbled mutant pigeons i see locally. they're 30% brown, 20% white, 40% grey and 10% black. they look really weird. maybe all those left over chips from mcdonalds makes them blind, so they can't tell what colour pigeon they're shagging?

They're politically correct animals. That way they don't overly offend those whom they have shat upon ....not unlike politicians
