Ok, well i need the BEST DVD drive i can find for a HTPC that i am building for this guy. Money is no object. What drive would be the FASTEST i can get that will read pretty much any DVD without a hitch. I need to use it to EASILY take a DVD and rip it onto his hard drive (its going to have about a 1000gig hard drive). He then is going to use ShowShifter to play them back. He wants to store all his DVDs on the computer that will be intigrated into his 3million dollar boat and distributed to 5 LCD TVs around the boat. Is DVD Decrypter the easiest and most reliable way to rip DVDs stratit to the HD with full Dolby Surround sound and all intact?? He nees this to be stupid proof... so if there is an eaiser way let me know. I wish ShowShifter could rip and archive the DVDs. Do you guys know of any better HTPC software that can do EVERYTHING from rip, store, playback DVDs and CDs, Play cable, capture video like a pvr, watch and control satellite, etc?

This is easy. Hire a company to do what you want with you as an agent. Take a 20% cut of the profits and go on vacation.
