  1. I have 2 divx3 avi files with mp3 audio "per gspot" when combined with virtualdub the second half of the movie starts loosing sync as the movie plays. The original files play fine, What can i do to fix this problem.?

also whats the best mpeg/avi/divx joiner that works, with no sync issues? does that exist?

  2. the second half of the movie starts loosing sync as the movie plays.
First of all if the sound sync problem starts at the begining of the second half and is only off by a little, then it could be because VirtualDub preloads 500 MS of sound which isn't needed for the second halh of the movie.

If the audio sync issue is gradual then it is likely the frequency it was recorded at. the sound is likely at 44,100hz or at 48,000hz, either way if it is off by 1 (48,001hz) the sound will be playing ever so slightly faster or slower. There is a great HELP GUIDE at the link below which should help you further.

  5. Thats ok, I found several AVI joiners and in worked, no audio outa sync. Funny worked for some not for others, but yet, other worked for them , so ill just have to keep a collection. Alot quicker and simpler than demuxing, editing a 400meg wav file hopeing it works. ect.. anyway..
