  1. i know this has been discussed before but......
i'm trying to convert a video that has 4 .avi files, each about 700mb,
i went to galatica's page and followed the instructions using mpeg2works to convert the files to dvd standard, but after the terminal stopped I got a .m2v file weighing about 190mb and a error saying the terminal couldn't open the .mp2 file????? I knew this wasn't right.
So, i tried ffmpegx. again not right. i got a bigger video file and audio file, but when i imported them into DVDSP2, the video file had no video (or picture) and no sound that i could hear of. ?????
    what do you guys think?
    whats next to try?

    thanks a bunch

This is gonna go kinda fast, so pay attention.

Take the 4 .avis into Divx Doctor II.
Doctor the files into QT movie files.
Open QT Pro, copy and paste the movie files into a sequential order.
Save the file as a self contained movie file.
close to confirm changes. Open the newly created file again in QT Pro.
In QT Pro, Export--> MPEG-2 ( you should have this option
because You do have a legit copy of DVDSP2, right?)

Set your bit rate, set your audio, click ok.

Resulting M2v and Aiff audio will be DVDSP2 compatible.
Drag and drop into respective timelines.
