    Dear Friends,
Well I need your help again. I’ve already asked you (and you’ve been good enough to respond) about transferring VHS to DVD and about Copying and burning DVD’s. I’m trying to figure out the best software to use for one or both of these processes (you can look at some of my previous posts if you want to see my original questions). I already have Nero Express 6 (it came with my CD burner), but was thinking about The Nero 6 full version for doing both processes. Here’s my problem, I’m sorry to show my ignorance but I don’t know what OEM means, and what the difference is between it and regular versions (besides price). I think it means regular version without support, but I’m not sure. Please advise me as to what the difference is and if Nero 6 is what I’m looking for, or if there is a better product.
Thanks ahead of time, & God Bless

I'm pretty confident that for every task in the process from VHS to CD/DVD media, there's a better tool than Nero, except for the actual burning (even if I have my doubts for that too!). A monkey wrench can never replace a good socket wrench kit.

If you're doing what I think you're doing (ordering Nero 6 OEM from an online store), make sure you know what you're getting! I ordered "Nero 6 OEM" from an online shop and ended up with a bundle that had Nero 6 Express and several extras that I had no use for. The website very explicitly said that I was getting a full version of Nero, but that's not what they sent. They never returned one of my emails, and I ended up eating the cost. If I'm right about your plan, make sure you go to ResellerRatings and look your dealer up before you buy anything.

And if that's not what you're thinking of doing, then please ignore me. Move along... nothing to see here.
