PIONEER 626-D

I have a pioneer 626d it used to play vcd's i have and now it doesn't play any of them it plays dvd's okay but not no more vcd's anybody know why?

If you can still play dvds but not video cds i guess there must be something wrong with the cd reading laser most pioneer models have dual laser one for dvds and one for cds (and vcds) that's probably why you have no trouble with dvds using a lens cleaning cd might solve your problem can you still play audio cds if not then this must be the case and sometimes it helps if you put a full stop mark somewhere in your post hope this helps

I've tried going in and having a look it only has one lazer that I can see. I've run a cd cleaner through it and it still does it any more ideas?
