  1. hello

    i captured a vhs and converted it to .mpg (mpeg-2) and now ive got to cut a bit in the beggining and in the end to remove some stuff i dont need. i usually use the MPEG Tools from TMPGEnc Plus but the file seems to be too big (it is 4.2Go) and it freezes.
    ive search and i found a bunch of softwares to cut mpg's, but im 56k and id like to have a sure answer as downloading an useless software is for me a pain.

    could you drive me to a software that will do ther job for sure?

  3. videoredo is a second program for editing mpeg2 files.

    Use Google and search for VideoReDo....

    I've had no problem with this tools, even on MPEG-2 files with AC3 audio. You can download the trial to see how you like it.

    i realized some of the softwares in my cpu didnt work properly, i made a system restore and tried after that... tmpgenc plus worked fine, so e
