I have used TMPGEnc to convert WMV to MPEG and then used VCDEasy to prepare it for VCD.

Is there any program beside Nero or WinCDR that allows me to burn this prepared VCD to CD???

Is there a guide for this???

    Thanks

VCDeasy can burn it too. Or you can have it create a bin and cue image and use whatever program you have capable of burning said image type. Is there any reason why you don't want to use Nero?

On my machine VCDEasy doesn't recognize my CD burner. When I launched the program it said the ASPI was not available. I am running Win XP although I am not sure why I am getting this error.

If I could I would love to burn with VCDEasy.

    I don't have Nero. 8-((

  5. Download and install ForceASPI. It installs an older version of Adaptec's ASPI layer. DO NOT download the latest ASPI from Adaptec as it may not work.

ForceASPI will solve your problem. Set your CD burner to generic-mmc-raw and you should be fine...

Burnatonce is one of my favourites when it comes to burning CD images. Can use both ASPI and SPTI (?)

OK I was able to use the ForceASPI and it burned VCD and I was able to play on my stand alone DVD player. Woohooo.

Now...How can I increase the quality it was very "blocky"???

I started with a WMV file and then converted to MPEG should be going to AVI or another way????

    Thanks

Since VCD specs are pretty limited (and does not allow for tweaks), there's not much you can do to make the quality better, other than getting better source material.
Only other route is CVD or SVCD which both are mpg 2 video formats.
