My CPU Temperature is 60C according to bios. Is this OK, as I intend to leave my PC overnight encoding & downloading etc . And what temperature should I get worried about ? I have large fan on CPU & incase. Is it safe to leave on for long periods ?

60C is pretty hot but it works. Mines is usually 57C, give or take a C... if it's hotter than 63C, then that's something to think about... =|

No its not okay I suggest you get a new cpu fan
I burned mine out at 76 degrees
Now i'm on a 1.4 overclocked to 1546 and my bios tempature is 40-45c
anything higher than 138f is something you have to worry about

A tempature of 60 C is TOO HOT! It still is not critical, but you are shortening the life of your CPU if it runs that hot frequently. The ideal tempature should be 50 C or less.
My 1200 Mhz T'Bird runs at 119-128 F under load. For what its worth the monitoring software that comes with my ASUS board has the default CPU temp alarm set at 140 F.
