Hai everybody...
I was wondering...
I can burn dvd's without problems, but because of some probs with -R i use imgtool to create a ISO so i can burn this one with DVDdecrypter(this works fine for me with -R)...
When i shrink my DVD with DVDshrink, the filesize is always under de max or even to the max that dvdshrink recommends...
But when I make an image file of it it's bigger then 4,37 gigs, i have a dvd here that's after shrinkin' 4.13 gigs, and when turned into ISO 4,5...
Is this the acctual size that wil be burnt on the DVD-R, 4,5, or is it the size of the ISO and when the ISO is burnt, the original shrinked movie size 4,13 will be burned?
a little visual:
which awnser would it be?:
ISO file (4,5 gig)->burn to dvd->DVD-R size = 4,5 gig;
ISO file (4,5 gig)->burn o dvd-> DVD-Rsize = 4,13 gig (original shirnked movie size)
thanks!

I always make an ISO IMAGE file before burning because I like to use DVD Decrypter.
I normally use ImgTools classic for this. I also often use TMPGEnc DVD Author so when I am using that program I use it's own built-in method of creating an ISO IMAGE file.
Thing is ... I've never noticed the ISO IMAGE file getting substantially bigger than the VIDEO_TS folder.
I think it might get a tad bit bigger but not by much.
When I use a transcoder I normally set it to 4400MB and I never have a problem with the ISO IMAGE file being too large after I create it with ImgTools classic version (which is how I do it when using a transcoder).
This works with DVD2ONE and DVDShrink.
So why you are getting a bloated ISO IMAGE file ... well I just don't know!
Are you using ImgTool classic version or something else to make your ISO IMAGE file?
