  1. hey - relative noob (just use dvddecrypt / dvdshrink / ifoedit / then nero to burn dvds)

im having problems with one dvd. when i run the VOBS through ifoedit, it says there are no problems. however when i open the VOBS in WMP or burn it to disc, the audio is about a half second behind.

    the original dvd plays fine...

I take it you mean rip/shrink DVDshrink , burn Nero and then you are peeking/adjusting with IFOedit .
Try ripping and shrinking it with another package , there are plenty of trials around of various packages . This`ll tell you if its your ripping and shrinking causing it . WMP is a strange beasty - it can adjust itself to play files (which are out of synch ) in perfect synch , but your prob is the other way around , which is also a speciality of WMP - ie dont trust it.

Are you playing the new dvd back on your dvd player or on your pc ? try it on a dvd player

And try another burning package .
