I was only messing about the Pink Floyyd, lol. I seem to have solved my problems anyway using Goldwave so I'm happy again. I just had to perform the extra step of loading up the 1-channel clip and saving it as a stereo one before encoding with BeSweet but I can live with that. Goldwave also has a pitch change function which when a reduction to 95.904% of the original post-BeSweet file yields the exact original pitch of the audio I had to comprimise with Airplane and leave it in the original pitch (though now I could do it properly) which made the Beegees' voices 4% higher, that you can notice!
