  1. Im having this problem with TMPEGenc and i don´t know what could be happening.

When i open mpg2 clips colors looks "washout" with exceess brigthness, but when i open mpeg1 everything is ok.

i tested the mpg2 clips opening them with media player and powerdvd with no problems at all, is just when i open them in tmpgenec.
i tried to increase the priority on the environmental settings with no success.

here is a example of what im telling

  2. What MPEG2 decoders are listed on your VFAPI plug-in list? I can replicate your problem by inverting the order of the two decoders on mine: CRI Sofdec MPEG Decoder and Cyberlink MPEG-2 decoder. Everything's fine as long as the Sofdec is higher priority than the Cyberlink.

  3. i decided unistall tmpgenc and powerdvd. Reinstall first powerdvd, then tmpgenc and.....everything works again!

looks like somewhere in the chain a codec was missing, i think....

i didn´t experiment too much with the priority of the vfapi plugins....but if it happens again, i would do some changes.

    thanks!
