If NTSC, 30 frames per sec, 1800 frames per minute, 108000 frames per hour and so on.

Say the movies's got 30 fps (NTSC) and total number of frames = 300 000 then you just divide 300 000 with 30, giving you the number of seconds in the movie = 10 000.
Divide 10 000 with 60 and find out how many minutes it is. 10 000/60 = 166,666666666
Well the movie's 166,7 minutes, but that might not be enough accurate?
Divide 166,666666 with 60 and find out how many hours.
166,666666/60 = 2,7777777
It's 2 hours.
2,777777777-2 = 0,7777777
then multiply 0,777777 with 60 to find out how many minutes that is. 0,77777777*60 = 46,666666666
2 hours 46 minutes.
But that might not be accurate enough either, so substract 46 from 46,6666666 and multiply with 60 to find out how many seconds.
46,66666666-46 = 0,66666666
0,6666666*60 = 40
So the movie's exactly 2 hours, 46 minutes and 40 seconds.
Basically, frames/fps/60 will give you the time in minutes

Or, if you have a calculator with sexagesimal (?spelling) notation (most to all scientific calculators), all you have to do is press a button and it will give you the answer...
Also, the framerate for NTSC is 29.97 frames a second not 30. The makes a difference when you consider the whole length of the movie.
e.g., 300 000 frames:
in 29.97 fps = 2h 46m 50s
in 30.00 fps = 2h 46m 40s (i.e., 10 seconds LESS)
This is important if you are trying to manually sync audio and video. You must use the correct framerate (29.97).

Yes, ofcourse
I didn't think about that, people should stop saying 30 fps, since it really isn't.
What I'd like to know though, is, why is the framerate 29,97 and not 30? huh..
