how do i convert a DAT file to a JPEG without blur???

the DAT file i am trying to convert is the title menu with thumbnails of a VCD i made with NERO. i want to use this picture as my label on the VCD. here's what i use now and get. i use TMPGE to convert it to an MPG. then i use the program KONVERTER to convert the MPG to a JPEG but when i finished the picture is EXTREAMLY blocky. i know there is a better way but how? someone said on here about something else about changing file extentions but how would i do that if thats all i need to do??....

ok. now i'm a little nieve here but what do you mean by Print Screen? do you mean actually printing the screen or is Print Screen a program???........

Display the image.

Press the button named "Print Screen" on your keyboard. An image of the screen has now been copied to the clipboard.

Open up an image editing proggy like Paint Shop Pro and "paste".
