  1. Would Somebody pleae help?? Errors and No Luck???

I just bought a HP pavilion with HP400i burner and a case of TDK DVD-R, I bought DVD Cloner II, and also downloaded 1Click DVD, plus the DVD Decrypter and DVD43, I have NTFS and Win XP, Last couple of days have been hell trying to backup a commercal Movie. What is the deal? would one of you experts tell me what I need to get/do?

DVD Cloner does not provide good enough guides and how to, and no media gauidance? AM I just out of luck with my TDK DVD-R?

If I don't hear back in the next 24hrs from DVD Cloner, I'll be demanding a refund: :?
    Thanks

Download both DVDDecrypter (you got that one already) and DVD shrink. Both are available for free and both have numerous guides on this site. Go to the tools section, download them ,install them, read the guides, and then come back if you can't get them to work. They are pretty much idiot proof IF you take the time to read the guides.

    That would be my suggestion.

Oh, and one more thing. Always pick up a few RW discs so you don't make coasters until you get your technique down.

You might try using the freeware DVDshrink. It's easy to use and there are plenty of guides. Also you might try a few RW DVD's so you don't expand your coaster collection any more. If you're just starting out, study the guides to the left, there's a lot to learn.

Edit: jtommyj, I guess were thinking the same thing, good advice, though.

  5. Thanks to those replying to my frustration?

Again: Is it true that I can not copy on to TDK DVD-R, or at least not using the HP 400i? It seems kind of odd??? Should I just return them?

If that is the case what Media should I buy instead??
    Thanks

  6. don't hear back in the next 24 hours going to demand a refund, lol. should of never bought that shit. should of did a little research and you would have saved some money and gotten dvd shrink. don't know what your problem is because you haven't explained it. what are you steps? copying dvds has came a long ways in the last year and it has gotten really simple. so if you are having problems maybe this is to much for you.....

Yeah, go to your local BestBuy, Costco, Office Max or Office Depot and pick up a 5 pack of DVD+RW to practice on and take back what you can of the TDK DVD-R's or sell them to a friend or something. Then get yourself some DVD+R also.
