  1. I would just like to see someones output on this and the way they do it before i look at the tutorials. I have a video that is (MPEG) format and i was wanting to burn it to a dvd+r. What are the steps involved in it and what are they. Thanks for the help.

    If it's DVD compliant and the right size, load it into TMPGEnc DVD Author, author, then burn. If it's not compliant, then you read the tutorials.

    1. composite and edit it

    2. encode it

    3. mix and sync audio - master for dvd , encode audio

    4. make menus and author dvd (get graphics from graphics dept)

    5. test

    6. write to DLT (if a master)

    7. burn and/or duplicate and/or send out for stamping (if a master)

    8. get graphics dept to make up disk and cover designs ..



    suggest reading the tutorials first though .. anyway ...
