  1. This program is working well for me except for one thing. When I author a DVD and try to insert my own background picture, the program crashes. If I don't change the background picture I can burn the dvd fine. This is the error signature:
    AppName: wcreator.exe AppVer: 2.0.14.42 ModName: ntdll.dll
    ModVer: 5.1.2600.1217 Offset:00033aed

The instruction at "0x771dee24" referenced memory at "0x0000000c". The memory could not be "read".

I'm running Windows XP Pro on an Athlon XP 3000+ with 1gb of Hyper-X RAM. Has anyone else run into this? Are there any updates available for WinDVD Creator? Thanks for any help/info you can provide.

  2. Sorry for reopening an almost 2 years old topic, but I'm having the same issue with WinDVD Creator...

Does anyone knows the solution? I'm using WinXP SP2, DirectX 9 at an AMD Barton 2500+

My WinDVD Creator is Version 2.5B014.494C00 Eval

Guess might be conflict with whatever your system uses to view the type of picture you're importing. Try another picture format?
