making an avi from an iso

is there anyway you can get the video from an iso formatted movie and then convert it to avi?? if so, how can i do it?

i use virtualmod but i get an error and it says cannot detect file type? what do i do?

Try Gspot or AVIcodec or better for MPGs is Videotoolbox. That should tell you about the file type.
