    Anyone tell me how to install the codecs I need so that I can capture avi from my camcorder with virtualdub? tried downloading huffyuv but can't find the inf file to open it with. then tried downloading ffdshow but no luck there either. thanks

    You can get the Huffyuv binary here. Make sure you download the binary and not the source code.
