Ok, I have an mpg ready to go in VCDeasy to make a bin/cue.
BUT, it is a VHS rip, and its not the greatest quality. (Newbie alert) Usually when I burn a VCD mpg after VCDeasy it diplays on my television in full screen, which is what I usually want. Since this mpg isn't the best quality (full screen on my computer is unwatchable by my standards), is there a way to burn it so it shows up at on my tv at a predetermined size? Do I have to re-encode it? I see TMPGenc has a "Video arrange method" option. If I use this, what does a pixel size convert to television size? Even a percentage of the tv size is cool.
Any answers are appreciated.
Thanks,
Smack

Yes, set the Video arrange method to Center(custom size). If you want the half the video size set it to 176x120 and you will get black borders....it will still be pretty unwatchable....the vcd resolution is a bit too low.

Re-encoding an mpeg will only make it worse, especially a VCD.

Use the ZOOM feature on the DVD player. I can zoom out on my Toshiba. Did this today on a bad VCD I got myself.
