Amazing! That's the word that I would use to describe DVD Decrypter.
So I was ripping "Road to Perdition" to my hd last night and the disc was badly scratched. It got to about 50% and then DVD Decrypter said that it couldn't read the disc.
I hit "retry" and after Decrypter said that it had retried around 325 times and slowed its' read speed down to about .01 kb/s... It finally said that it successfully copied ALL files to the hard drive.
I was still skeptical about the DVD playing after I burned it. I shrinked it up with DVDShrink and then burned it. To my unbelievable surprise, the movie played perfect.
Most all other programs would have given up after one failed read attempt, but not Decrypter. It tried 325 times and slowed waaaaaay down, and after about an hourit read the disk all the way through.
Thank you, Lightning UK, for writing such an unbelievable application and giving it to all of us for free. Your a saint.
Marc
