Hello,
My apologies if the following questions have been asked and answered before. I've had the recorder for a while now and really like it. There's a couple of things I'm hoping maybe someone can answer
1 - Has anyone noticed when you do editing in a playlist, that between the scenes you edit, there is a fadeout on the audio portion? Video-wise, I can get them right next to each other, but the audio clips a little.
2 - Are there any firmware updates for the machine out there, that might address being able to assign chapters in Play-List mode or being able to use chapter marks in modes other than High-Speed?
I look forward to learning lots in the forum.
Robert

Weh you play your files back are them from the hard drive or DVD-R. I think its best to edit another way. Hit 'DIRECT NAVIGATOR' right click on a file high light 'SHORTEN SEGMENT' This way you take out the commercial and save on your hard drive space but you edit the opposite way thenfrom the play list. This way you can do high speed dubbing. I find if a move is two or less ahours like one and ahalf hour's your better at recording at SP then XP and redubbing it again. Try your own test and see if you like it.
