  1. I use dvd decrypter, dvd shrink and nero6 to copy dvd's. The quality is great but just takes so long. Is there any software out there that is as good but quicker? I have tried DVD X Copy platinum but keep getting errors. Any views would be helpful. My operating system is XP.

    many thanks[/b]

It takes me about 30-40 minutes max from the time I put in the DVD until the backup is burned with DVDshrink. You would have to use a much faster computer to see any major improvements on that. If you use deep analysis, it will take longer, again a faster machine will shorten that. I only use DVDdecrypter to burn.

    Fil out your computer details.
Especially if you are asking questions about ripping or burning speeds . These kind of problems depend very much on the limitations of your PC.

  4. fergs, when you say "so long" exactly how long is so long? 30-40 minutes using dvdshrink is about right for me, but add another 30-40 minutes if you have to used dvdecrypter for commercial dvd rips. does that sound about right for what you're getting? i run xp on a p4 1.7 512RAM
