I just bought a new dvd recorder. Everything seems to work fine. I have ruled certain things out. I hooked my miniDV camcorder up via S-Video to my DVD Recorder and everything came out fine. The color was picture perfect.. I tried setting it up with my computer. When I first boot my pc up, and it starts to log into WinXP, everything is fine. The color is perfect. However, when it finally logs into winxp and goes to my desktop, the color on the TV is other then what it should be. For example, on my monitor, the top of my IE browser is blue where it shows DVDRhelp.com Forums. On my TV, it is a dark green/blue-green color. I know it has to be my video card settings. I'm just not so sure how to mess around with them. I have a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 video card. I have tried messing with the color settings, but I am lost here. I've tried everything I can think of, but perhaps I'm missing something. I'm wondering if anyone else is familiar with this type of video card and has s-video knowledge and could be some of assistance. I can take screenshots of my nvidia display settings if that will be of some help. If anyone can help at all, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
