Currently, I own a Replay 5040. I am using the RePlay's ethernet connection to grab video files (recorded at medium quality), trimming out commercials with Womble, and then burning to DVD with DVD Architect. The picture quality is good but a little soft on my 42" wide screen TV.
I'm curious if anyone has experience with both a RePlay and the Panasonic E-80 who can comment on picture quality between the two units. Cleary, I can set the E-80 to the highest setting and it will look better but at a comparable storage level, would I expect to see much of a difference? Thanks!
