I have succesfully made lots of multis with this excellent proggy.
I have the latest version installed but recently I have had a few problems with lip sync in some films.
I have managed to fix the last 2 that were faulty.
After the BIN files have been extracted and -f applied with svcd2dvd the mpg is showing no errors in virtualdub but way off sync.
If I try to load mpeg into tmpgenc it will not load the sound.
I tried extracting the bin file with isoburn but got an error.
So I then used VCDGear v3.55 and told it to use
RAW Track image to mpeg
I then played the resulting mpeg in Virtualdub and its perfectly in sync.
Converted now with svcd2dvd and no lipsync in dvd
So why is vcdgear 1.76 in program not doing its job properly?
Thats twice now I have fixed lip sync problem this way without having to reauthor.
Before I tried this method I was reauthoring them in tmpgenc if they opened in it ok

Ok I have just extracted another set of bin files using the raw to mpeg in vcdgear and then converted and have no problems.
From now on I will extract my bin files like this b4 inserting the resultant mpegs into svcd2dvd.
Seems the only way I can guarantee success.
If vcdgear v1.76 extracts some of them their are lip sync errors in virtualdub but using this extraction method there are no lipsync errors in virtual dub
What you think chrissyboy? -
I think thats very interesting.
If I can replicate it I shall include this in SVCD2DVD.
Can you email me re getting a sample to test with?

Unfortunately I have deleted the bin files now and the mpegs as I was struggling for space.
I might try and get 1st one again and get a sample for you.
However I can gurantee to anybody that the method I have mentioned above works all the time.
If this option can be included it will be amazing.
Will email you if I can retrieve bin file 1 again. -
