  1. Okay, a buddy of mine followed your tutorial, and made his SVCD backup, he however can't get it to burn, so in frustration, he's asked for my help. (Don't tell him I ain't that sharp!) He's only got the 5.1 Toast, but I've got the latest. The Bin files play just fine in VLC, but the cues in Toast give me an error, saying they aren't the right kind of cue files? , is there some sort of way to check the cue files to see if they're correct? If worse comes to worse, I'll extract the MPEG from the bin files, and just burn it for him as a VCD or do the whole re-encode thing via ffmpegX, but I'd like to just burn the SVCD as is.

only way i know is to actually drop the .cue into VLC. it should "link" to the .bin and begin playing

if not, then there is most likely a problem.
besides, if you have the files, it only takes a few min to extract and re .bin/.cue them doesnt it

  4. Fixed it, my best guess is, the .nfo file is kind of important to have?
It wasn't in the folder, the .cue files weren't recognized, put it in the folder, it burns perfectly....duh.......
