  1. Hi everyone. I need help trying to make a dvd.
I have the video in avi which i extract the audio and video. The video i encoded to dvd compliant mpg and the audio i got in ac3 format. Now i cant seem to add the ac3 audio to my video using ulead movie factory 2 or sonic mydvd le version 5. They both accepted mp3 but i ended up with an uncompatible dvd.

If the MPEG file is DVD-compliant, demux it. Open IfoEdit, select DVD Author--Author New DVD.

Load the .m2v file as video, and the AC3 file as audio, add your .sup file if you are adding subtitles, name the target directory, select OK.

The resultant files can be burned with Nero, or whatever your favorite DVD burner program is.
    Hello.

Do you have an MPEG file (aka filename.mpg) or a M2V file (aka filename.m2v)

If you have an MPEG file you need to demultiplex it. This can be done with a variety of programs including TMPGEnc (FILE ---> MPEG TOOLS)

Once you get a M2V file you can then use TMPGEnc to multiplex the M2V and AC-3 into a single MPEG (aka filename.mpg) file.

You should now be able to use this with MF2 ... not sure about SONIC MYDVD but my guess is it will work with that as well.
