Hi,
I have been using Mainconcept to encode my avi (from miniDV) to DVD successfully for a few avi inthe past. Recently, I use my miniDV camcorder to do an A/D convert that take a VCR's output as input to camcorder and using premiere to capture the digital out as an avi file. However, when I use Mainconcept to read in this avi file it says: "Eoorr, can not find video ...". If I load into Audio section and it will complain "can not find Audio ...".
However, when I use Tmpgenc, it load perfectly, I actually encode it successfully in Tmpgenc using constant bitrate. (variable bitrate is too slow in Tmpgenc). I am not sure why Mainconcept can not read this avi although Tmpgen is OK with it.
I also tried CCE test version, CCE also read it in successfully. The problem is that I don't know how to encode correctly using CCE because every time I tried it, the result is very bad that when an object (person) move from 1 location to another location in the screen, I always see the transition ghost badly. the movement are never smooth for me for CCE. Mainconcept is OK for me but I cannot read it in. Anybody know the possible solution?
Thanks
Albert
