  1. Hello
    I have a file video file with the exttension APEX.avi but i cant open it if i try with windows media player i get " the file is unsupported " and if i click on web help it says"Error ID = 0x80040265, Remedy ID = 0x00000000".How do i fix this ?

    If i try to run it in another media viewer "irfanview" i get:-

    "Error windows cannot play this file.
    windows text error: the specified file cannot be playedon the specified MCI device, the file is either corruptnot in the correct format , orno file handler for this format.
    You can try to install additional video/audio codecs from this site :- www.webartz.com/fourcc/indexcod.htm

    => video codec unknown"


    when i got to the site it has moved but when i go to the www.fourcc.com site i havent a clue what to dowwn load .
