I've had some good results using TMPEGnc but I have a few movies where the audio sync goes out of line. They play fine as AVI's. Often the audio is ahead of the video.
How do i get audio and video back in sync?

    cheers

Pinnacle was doing that for me - i think it does it when it re-renders ?? i juse capture in P8 in mpg 2 then use TMPGenc DVD Author b/c for 1 - my file is too big and 2 - sometimes it goes out of sync after the DVD is made

    Tjänare Baldrick!

I use ffmpeggui to extract the sound from the AVI.
It delivers in the format of .mp2 and this works well. Prehaps I should go to WAV directly? If I did would it make any diffreance do you think? TMPGenc creates a WAV anyway, but it works.
You know the saying, If it ain't broke, don't fix it
