  1. I have two problems.

    1. When creating a dvd using x copy it takes about an hour but i get alot of errors. When using dvd shrink it takes about 3 hours any ideas on the major time difference? I have also tried using dvd decrypter b4 using shrink and it still takes 3 hours.

    2. The Dvds i have backed up play fine on every player i have tried them on apart from my own sony ns705 on which the picture freezes and jumps all the time. I have tried with unnamed media, Datawrite media and ritek media. All 3 play fine on other players. I use dvd-r media. I have also tried different writing speeds with the same result

Any sugestions on these problems will be greatly appreciated

Sony was one of the first manufacturers to implement the restriction of playing burnt CDs in their stereos. I don't know whether they have extended this to cover their DVD players as well, but it is a thought. Your times sound too long. Fill in your computer details in your profile as it will help all understand what you are working with.
    If in doubt, Google it.
