  1. This is a strange one. I have had movies encoded with AC3 audio that plays fine in Windows Media Player, but when I demux the AC3 audio from an AVI file using Virtualdubmod there is no sound. If I convert the same AC3 file to a WAV using AC3 Decoder, the WAV file has sound. In order to use the audio file when creating DVDs I have to now convert it back to AC3

    Any ideas why?
