Hi,
I thought I had a problem with clonedvd freezing now I think its my
Sony DRU-510AK Burner. I was browsing this forum and stumbled across a problem with ASPI manager and/or ESDI. I have no idea what these are or how I check if this could be my problem. Any help PLEASE

the easist thing to do is install ForceASPI:

Just ignore the warning at the bottom about being an older version, I've used it, it works fine.
But this may not be your problem. I suggest you post a detailed description of the symptoms and we'll see what we can come up with. Make sure you try different burning software first just to make sure that it's not simply a problem with CloneDVD. -
Thanks for the reply,
Firstly I've been using CloneDVD with Anydvd for a couple of weeks with no problem. then I thought Id try DVDShrink and Nero, but after I downloaded them things went bad I've been told that Nero does not like to share your comp with any other burning software so I removed both nero and shrink. But ever since then everytime I try to use clone to read and compress it comes up with a read error. I think I removed all of Nero but am not 100% sure.
Any clues!
