Hey guys,i've done a lot of reading.so far it has anwered all my questions except for one problem.I can capture from vhs using virtual dub just fine. But when I implement Huffyuv v2.2.0 codec while capturing.I get nasty distortion on half of the avi. This happens only after capturing with huffy.Any suggestions on how to take care of this problem?tweaking settings, diff drivers?thanks!
P.s. I am using current leadtek drivers.

Try capturing with the PicVideo MJPEG codec... or a lower resolution.
Are you attempting to capture at a data rate that your system can't support? Full-D1 HuffYUV can be somewhere around 8Mb/sec which can be a bit much for older systems / slow drives. (MJPEG at Q19 is usually 2.5-3.5 Mb/sec) -
well i'm capturing at 320x240,in Virtual Dub,when I select the frame rate to 29.97 the kb/s goes to 6755kbs.Is this the reason i'm having an issue?how would I set virtual dub with huffy to record at 3,000Mb/sec?

Video, Compression menu...
However, I don't capture using VDub so that's a guess (I use Virtual VCR).
