Hello,
We have 2 Archos AV1xx portable video recorders. These work reasonably well for recording video signals. However, we are running into a problem with them: the capture resolution of this device is 304x224. When this is stretched to fit full screen the image becomes quite pixellated.
So, with that in mind, we are looking for a device which will capture live composite or s-video at the highest possible quality. We would like to have 15fps or better frame rate.
I have seen there is a device called the MEC deluxe but have little information about it. It is produced by Avias (www.iavias.com). There are other similar devices out on the market (RCA Lyra, Panasonic SV-AV30) but they don't seem to have resolution higher than the Archos AV120/140.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
