Some days ago, I posted I found a solution for ff/rw problem using DVD2SVCD.
I created a SVCD video of about 1h20m with chapters and great fast-forward/rewind.
I was happy, so I wrote it.
Now I've tried to do it again.
And guess?
It doesn't work!
I can't believe it.
I've tried several settings, tried to remember what I've used that day.
What's happen?

Something similar happened to me a while ago. I had a 50 min. SVCD which *did* FF/RW OK (the time display was wrong though I think).
As it turned out, the FF/RW worked because I had a 35 min SVCD (which did ff/rw fine) in my player just before I inserted the 50min CD in the player. By the way, FF/RW would *not* work after the 35 minute point. Appearantly, the player remembers something from the first SVCD (probably some scan data).
This sounds strange but it's reproducible.
Anyway, do you still have your original succesful SVCD? Does it work now or has it stopped working properly (ff/rw and time display)? -
No, I haven't anymore. It was a CD-RW and erased soon.
Are you saying that if I load a <30min first, than the next disc >50min works well?
Do you think "Philips SVCD Designer" work well?
