    IPods...

They advertize that they hold 10,000 songs. However the RIAA would not have us convert any of our existing music collections to MP3, but instead download froms sites like Itunes. But they cost a $1/song, that means its gona cost $10,000 to fill an Ipod with MP3s. What have I missed? Who is fooling who?

To hell with what the RIAA wants. If you own the originals, you are allowed to load them onto your iPod anytime you want.

When did the RIAA say that? I've never heard that they didn't want us to convert our collections.

I'm still waiting for Martha Stewart and KMart to blame "illegal downloads and file sharing/piracy" for their troubles.
