  1. One of these days I will get it right but here goes I use my d2v file and audio file then load them into tmpeg 2.0. For this example i am using a straight vcd ntsc disk I get jumpy video about 15 minutes or so into the movie. I have tried both field order I have tied both A first and B first and both have the same resaults. Could it be something the the de-interlace setting I am missing, right now I dont have it checked. If somebody knows the right setting that will make this go away I will really appreciate it.

    Thanks a bunch In advance.

If you create VCD, then you need to de - interlace your source! Do that always for resolutions 352 X 288....
I suggess: De-interlace (even fild/adaption) and set: top fild first A

  3. Thanks for the great reccomendation I will try that, damn I wish it did not take so long to encode to try things out. For an (X)vcd which I will be doing once I get this going right, what is the best way to go constant bitrate at say 1800 or a 2 pass variable birate with an average of 1800, also how much longer will this method take.

    Thanks a bunch

  4. I never really liked de-interlacing. I always use progressive framing, then convert again to VCD format using TMPGenc. You can do it straight through VCD format in Flask, but I get VCD compliant problems for some reason.
