I am using Nero Visionexpress to author DVD's from avi files. I usually set the sound to Dolby Digital rather than stereo as I have a prologic television which I play my DVD's through. I find that when I watch the DVD the back channels do not have any sound on them. Prerecorded DVD's work ok. The avi files claim to have ac3dolby 5.1. Am I using the correct setting or should I choose stereo instead ??

Check me if I'm wrong Sandy... but isn't Dolby Prologic and Dolby digital two different things? I don't expect you would have perfectly working dolby digital sound through a dolby prologic system. (prologic is analog, dolby digital is umm... well... digital.)
Don't quote me on all of this, but I think this is the case.
