I know it's an OLD program but it works well when it works....but for me I only use the "Edit Disc" function. To me that is all this program is really good for. I do have an annoying problem.
What is the difference between Enumerating VS. Copying of the DVD+RW?

When enumerating starts....that usually means that the rest of my day is going to go well and the program will churn out a disc exactly like I want.
When copying starts....I know that my disc will most likely not edit correctly....IE....the actual running time of the disc will show up WAY off after the "copying" is complete.
    What am I doing wrong?
I normally take +RW discs straight from my Philips recorder to MF2 then edit out the Philips menu....add chapter markers...etc etc. I've also taken non-RW discs and placed the contents to +RW's and done it that way with good results. However there is no uniformity to the Enumerating VS. Copying....sometimes enumerating....YEA....sometimes copying....BOO.
I don't get it....it there a trick to putting the video to the RW to get the program to react to it correctly? I've used all modes DVDDecrypter to take the DVDR stuff to the RW, I've used DVDShrink and straight from the Philips Recorder.... all with unpredictable results.
    Any suggestions?

  2. Interesting issue.

I've never run into that one.

Have you tried Ulead's Los Angeles technical support team?

    1 (310) 896-6391, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm PST.

    Maybe they've encountered/solved that problem.

I assumed that technical support would be OUT for this old program....maybe I'll give them an e-mail. I'm in Germany and that would be an expensive phone call...
I also do NOT want to update this program and loose the AC3 passthru loophole.
Specialist....which do YOU get when you edit an RW disc....Enumerating or Copying?
