    is it possible to turn two divx avi files into a single dvd using ffmpegx?

    Encode each avi with DVD quick preset. Then keep the m2v and mp2 elementary streams resulted from each encoding and trash the other files. Finally use Sizzle to author the multiple m2v/mp2 into a single DVD.

    how do i make sure it spits out a mp2 and a m2v? i have it set to do that but i think one other time i tried to encode into mp2 it only gave me a mva, and a mpv.

    That's exactly the same. Simply rename mpv to m2v and mpa to mp2.

    Thats what i was thinking it was but i just wanted to make sure. But i see on your web page that you recommend using quicktime to make the mpeg2 files over ffmpegx due to mpeg2enc not having as high of quality in the end. This leads me to my next question, is there going to be a 2 pass encoding option for ffmegx when making mpeg2 files?
