  1. well... I have all the right codecs installed... xvid, divx, whatever I need to play the avi file... and it has ac3 sound... so I wanna convert it to vcd.
    I installed the ac3acm decompressor exactly as told, then I loaded the movie file into tmpgenc and so far so good, loaded the vcd settings, and when I press start I get an error massage "the error occured when acm was initialized" and it doesnt convert it, so what can I do?

    Take five min. convert the .ac3 to .wav load into tmpgenc, viola!
