help with settings

I have been having a heck of a time getting a dvd (in osx DVD player) to run and then when I do the sound was way out of sync. (that may have been due to using the NTSC film for the video?)

I have an 85 minute (NTSC) .mov file created by iMovie for my source. I want use mpeg2enc to create the .m2v and .mp2 to be used by sizzle (with a sizzle menu.)

What should the settings look like?

Use the automatic settings, ie. only select a Quick preset and hit encode.
