For once I actually agree with jeex's views. I find it offensive too when an ad plays into stereotypes to an extreme degree to cater to African Americans. If it comes off as natural that's fine. But sticking a Yo or a hizzy at the end of your product's name is just bad taste. And yes, I think McDonald's is the worst about this...except for that one with the really young kids dancing and rapping. I like that one.

I also really like that one where the Dad goes into the kids room and says stuff like, "what's the haps, how about making the crib proper, Mom's trippin...etc..." Its an ad for night classes where adults can learn new skills like, "how to talk to your teenager."

I just remembered the best commercial EVER. It was aired in Sweden or something. Its a very wholesome family driving in a car listening to the radio. They are all really getting into the music. The song just keeps repeating the words, "I want to **** you in the ass."

Its an ad for English language classes.

The commercial that had me thinking "real or fake" was the Ford Sportika beheading a cat.... i must of watched that a few dozen times....

Worst commercial - Though funny, it got old quickly with the Little Ceasars Pizza Pizza funny nerd doing odd crazy s**t.

Best COmmercial - Japanese Duracel commercial. They had a toy fireman, about the size of a person's fist, and put a battery in it's back. It started to climb this tiny ladder up the side of the 100 story building. while it's climbing there's action music going and they are talking about all the good things of the battery and bad things of other batteries. At the end the fireman makes it to the top then stops for a second. Then you seem him squirt a short blast of water and puts out a cigarette on the top of the building.

It doesn't sound to funny, but I was on the floor laughing.

Maybe not specifically the worst commercial, but actually style of commerical:

I hate all those car ads where they spin the car around at blinding speed, then go to slow motion, then back to blinding speed, over and over.

Don't know why, but it bugs the hell out of me

Now almost all the car makers do it, although sometimes they show the car actually driving at super fast speed, then it slows down to slow motion, then back to high speed...

I've even seen this annoying tactic used to sell DishNet service, they show the Dish and Receiver spinning around then it slows down....

Arrrrrrrrrggggghhhhh!
