  1. Hi Folks,

I am trying to design a menu with DVD-lab 1.3 and Photoshop 5.0.
Does anyone know how I can take a .psd pic and put it in the menu so that it just shows the text and not the nasty square background of the pic.
I thought I had done it by using photoshops magic wand to select the text that I wanted from the pic and moved it to a newly opened .psd pic (with a transparent background, Then I sprayed the new pic so that what I thought I had was.... a pic of the text I wanted and no background. I then saved it (as .psd) and used it on my menu. It looked great, just what I wanted but when I compiled, and burnt it (with dummy movies to check how the menus would look)....the image was not there.
maybe I put 2+2 together and got...5 (or 42 if your a Douglas Adam's fan), anywayz, if anyone can explain how to do this properly I would be really grateful.

    Thx
