  1. Hi, what's the easiest way to reduce the size (bitrate and resolution was set too high) of an already captured mpeg file ?

  5. Thanks guys. I had considered TMPEGenc, but I thought it was for avi --> mpeg. It seems that DVDshrink is only for full DVD's not single mpeg files....

    And what is this m2v file that is used as output from ReJig? Can I use that just as an mpeg in other progs?

    demultiplex(split video and audio) the mpg to a m2v and a mpa/wav/ac3(audio) and rejig the m2v(video), multiplex the new m2v with the old audio. You can multiplex with tmpgenc->mpeg tools.

    If you want to use dvd shrink just author your project to your hd with for example tmpgenc dvd author and then use dvd shrink to shrink it.
