i currently had some music video, but some had different volume, some very loud whereas some very soft, how do i get their volume to be at the same level so that when i burn into vcd, it would have a constant volume.

You can extract the audio track and use either and editing software or a sound software to adjust volume.
I use Premiere or Adobe Audition, which has an embedded function to normalize audio volume. -
If you are able to split the audio into a seperate WAV file, you probably can use the WAVE-edit program that comes free with every Soundblaster audio card to adjust the audio level of that WAV file. Then use this adjusted audio file to create the dvd files.
It will be some trial and error to get it right, but it's the easiest way. -
there is a batch program called "Normalize" which can do what you want -- though it is command line (but VERY easy to use)
normalize, an audio file volume normalizer.
normalize is a tool for adjusting the volume of audio files to a standard level. This is useful for things like creating mixed CD's and mp3 collections, where different recording levels on different albums can cause the volume to vary greatly from song to song.
