  1. Here it goes:

    I have a 3+ hours long .avi on my computer. I want to convert it to mpeg2 so I can burn it on dvd. I use TMPGEnc as encoder. I use the wizard to create the mpg and it sais the output will be like 3,9 GB with 2-pass encoding. When the encoding is done, the first 2,5 hours of the movie looks fine (with normal/highquality tried both) but on the last half hour the picture is very jerky and blocky. And the output file is only 1,7-1,8 Gb instead of the predicted 3,9.

    I hope someone had it before and knows what I'm doing wrong. If you want some more info, just ask.

  2. yo might use Gspot to check your source file for problems..
    Always check helpfiles/instructions before leaping...
